4ozPork loin (or other meat)
3 Garlic cloves, minced
1/2cSliced Thail chilis (or jalapeno peppers)
1/4cSliced onions
4cCooked rice (Thai jasmine)
1/3cFish sauce (nam pla)
2tbSugar
1tbSweet soy sauce
1/4tsWhite pepper
1cHot basil leaves
1smTomato, cut into wedges
1/2cSliced cucumber
4 Green onions/scallions/spring onions, cut in 4-in. lengths
1 Carrot, thinly sliced

Heat a large skillet until hot and add the oil. Add the meat, garlic, chilis (or peppers) and onions and cook for 30 seconds. Add the rice, fish sauce, sugar, soy sauce and white pepper and continue to cook until the rice is hot. Toss in the basil leaves and stir to combine.
